Justin Timberlake Pleads Guilty in DWI Case

On Friday, Justin Timberlake appeared at a courthouse in Sag Harbor Village to formally plead guilty in his DWI case. He admitted to a traffic infraction for driving while impaired, as reported by ABC News.

Sag Harbor Village Justice Carl Irace sentenced him to 25 hours of community service and a $500 fine. As part of his plea agreement, Timberlake is also required to make a public safety announcement. His driver's license will be suspended in New York for 90 days starting Friday.

After the court proceedings, Timberlake spoke to the media, stating, "I found myself in a position where I could've made a different decision. But I've had some time to reflect on that." He urged viewers, "To everyone watching and listening, even if you've had one drink, don’t get behind the wheel. There are so many alternatives — call a friend, take an Uber, use travel apps. This is a mistake I've made, but I hope that whoever is watching can learn from it."
