Governor Uba Sani to Host Kaduna Financial Inclusion Summit in February 2025

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has announced the launch of the Kaduna Financial Inclusion Summit, scheduled for February 19-20, 2025. This summit aims to enhance financial access across the state, focusing on innovative financial technologies that promote inclusive governance. 

In a statement from the state’s accountant general, Bashir Zuntu, the summit is designed to tackle the pressing issue of financial exclusion, particularly among rural and underserved populations.

The summit will pursue several strategic objectives, including increasing financial access by exploring innovations that provide banking solutions for those in rural areas.

 Additionally, there will be an emphasis on enhancing digital financial literacy, with programs aimed at ensuring that at least 75% of rural communities can safely use digital financial tools. The summit also seeks to expand microfinance and fintech opportunities by building partnerships with institutions focused on empowering women and youth entrepreneurs
