Burkina Faso’s Traoré Says He’s Ready to Face Fate of Past African Revolutionaries
Burkina Faso’s President, Ibrahim Traoré, has declared that he is unshaken by threats comparing his potential fate to that of late leaders Muammar Gaddafi and Thomas Sankara both of whom were killed after challenging Western influence.
Speaking with conviction, Traoré said he has been warned repeatedly that his life could end like those leaders, but he remains undeterred.
“If my destiny is to die for the betterment of Africa, I will accept it without regret,” he affirmed.
