Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal Claims He Inherited N4 Million and Huge Debt Burden from Predecessor

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has revealed that he took over an almost empty treasury upon assuming office, with just N4 million left by the previous administration.

 In a recent statement, Lawal described the financial state of the government as deeply troubling, citing the existence of enormous debts incurred by his predecessor.
