Warwick Davis’ Wife Died from Cardiac Arrest After Surgery Complications, Inquest Reveals

More than a year after her passing, the cause of death of Samantha Davis wife of Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis has been officially confirmed.

An inquest held today revealed that Samantha, aged 53, died from cardiac arrest caused by complications following a surgical procedure. She passed away on March 24, 2023, at University College Hospital in London.

Samantha, who was also an actress, had battled health issues since 2019, when she developed sepsis after undergoing spinal surgeries at the same hospital. Her condition led to a prolonged stay in intensive care.

Professor Fiona Wilcox, Senior Coroner for Inner West London, concluded that Samantha's death resulted from arrhythmic cardiac arrest triggered by complications from thoracotomy surgeries.
