PMAN NEC Suspends President Pretty Okafor Over Alleged Abuse of Office

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has announced the suspension of its president, Pretty Okafor, over what it described as abuse of office and multiple violations of the association’s constitution.

In a statement issued after an NEC meeting, the council accused Okafor of making unilateral decisions without due process, including the appointment of vice presidents without NEC approval. The council also faulted him for the alleged unlawful removal of Baba Ojonugwa, the association’s national treasurer.
