Senate Urges ₦200 Million Compensation for Victim Killed by NDLEA Gunfire in Delta
The Nigerian Senate has recommended a ₦200 million compensation for the family of Ivan Omhonria, a young man who tragically lost his life after being struck by a stray bullet fired by personnel of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Asaba, Delta State.
The incident occurred on July 13, 2023, leaving Ivan dead and his younger brother, Eromonsele Omhonria, seriously injured after being shot in the eye
