Tragedy in Enugu: Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Ex-Girlfriend After She Announced Wedding Plans

A man identified as Ogbonna, widely known by the nickname “Mourinho,” has been apprehended by police in Nsukka, Enugu State, for the alleged murder of his former girlfriend, Chisom Ayogu.

According to local sources, Chisom, a native of Amufie in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, had visited Ogbonna at his home on New Anglican Road to inform him of her impending wedding.

 The meeting reportedly escalated into a violent altercation.
