Ondo State Government Announces the Passing of Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi

The Government of Ondo State has announced the passing of Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), who died on January 4, 2025. This tragic news follows a serious car accident that occurred on December 15, 2024, while he was traveling to Ibadan, after which he was hospitalized.

In a statement, Akinlosotu conveyed the government's profound sadness, stating, “Hon. Oluwatuyi was a dedicated public servant whose unwavering commitment to administrative coordination, policy advisory, and implementation had a significant impact on Ondo State.”

Akinlosotu extended condolences to the Oluwatuyi family from Akure, as well as to friends and associates, emphasizing the collective sorrow felt by the state government over this tragic loss. 

He also noted that further details regarding the burial arrangements for the late politician will be shared as they become available, allowing the community to pay their respects
