Nigerian Healthcare Worker Jailed for Sexual Assault of Vulnerable Patient in UK
A Nigerian healthcare assistant, Adewale Kudabo, 47, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison in the UK after sexually assaulting a vulnerable patient under his care at York Hospital.
Kudabo pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault during a trial at York Crown Court.
According to Prosecutor Henry Fernandez, the first incident happened after Kudabo gave the patient a bed bath and forcibly kissed her on the lips, disregarding her resistance.
A few days later, he repeated the assault by kissing her again as she lay incapacitated in her hospital bed.
The victim was nearly completely immobile due to a severe health condition, which left her unable to fend off his advances or move away
