Man Arrested for Supplying Soft Drinks and Consumables to Bandits 

Security operatives in Zamfara State have arrested Ashiru Jiji, a suspect accused of supplying soft drinks and other consumables to armed bandits operating in the region.

The arrest occurred during a routine patrol by the Zamfara State Community Protection Guards in a bandit-prone area. According to a security source who spoke anonymously, Jiji was caught in the act while transporting cartons of soft drinks and other supplies to remote forest hideouts used by the bandits.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Jiji had been acting as a logistics supplier, regularly ferrying supplies to criminal groups in the area. When questioned, he reportedly admitted that the goods were intended for a specific group of bandits he routinely serviced.
