Father Arrested for Allegedly Murdering Daughter and Burying Her in Shallow Grave in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended Kamoru Ojo, a man accused of murdering his 27-year-old daughter, Shakirat Ojo, and secretly burying her in a shallow grave at their home in Afromedia, Ojo area of the state.

The tragic incident occurred on March 26, 2025, but was only reported to the Okokomaiko Police Division on April 3, 2025, after a distress call prompted authorities to investigate. According to police sources, Kamoru allegedly beat Shakirat to death at their residence located at No. 31 Oshinlemo Street, Afromedia, before burying her body in the compound.
