Fiokee, a guitarist and brother of the late Emrich Effanga, has recounted the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding his sister's death at the hands of her boyfriend, Ndifreke Isaiah, whom she met in church. 

According to Fiokee, Emrich initially felt drawn to Ndifreke, but soon realized that he did not embody the godly persona he had presented.

 After deciding to end the relationship, Emrich faced escalating pressure from Ndifreke, who began to make threats.

Witnesses in Emrich's neighborhood observed Ndifreke physically assaulting her on two occasions and warned him to stay away. Despite these warnings, Ndifreke allegedly pressured Emrich to reconcile
