FG to Use Bamboo for Affordable Smart Housing Projects Nationwide

The Federal Government has announced plans to utilize bamboo as a key material in constructing affordable and durable smart homes for low and middle income earners across Nigeria.

This initiative was revealed by Mrs. Esuabana Nko Asanye, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology.

 She emphasized that bamboo offers a sustainable and cost-effective solution for addressing the country’s housing challenges while promoting eco-friendly construction practices.
