Federal Government Set to Begin Payment of Outstanding N35,000 Wage Arrears

The Federal Government has announced plans to clear the outstanding N35,000 wage award arrears owed to federal workers, covering a period of five months.

 According to the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, the first installment will be paid alongside April 2025 salaries.

The government had earlier disbursed wage awards to employees over several months in phased payments. 

It has now confirmed that the outstanding balance will be paid in monthly installments of N35,000 over the next five months.
