Akpabio Claims Labour Party Senator Seeks Defection to Tinubu’s Camp

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has revealed that a senator from the Labour Party (LP) has expressed interest in defecting to President Bola Tinubu’s political camp.

Speaking in a light-hearted tone, Akpabio said, “The number of states that are coming to join you is increasing. As I was leaving, one senator was dragging my dress today.

 He said, ‘Please take me there.’ I said, ‘You can’t come now,’ and he is an LP senator. I don’t want to mention his name, he is in my car outside.”
