Two UNILORIN Students Arrested for Selling Drug-Laced Cupcakes

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended two aspiring entrepreneurs from the University of Ilorin, Khadijat Abdulraheem, 24, and Ayomide Morakinyo, 20, for allegedly manufacturing and distributing drug-infused cupcakes. 

The arrests took place on December 29, 2024, in the Tanke area of Ilorin, Kwara State. According to Femi Babafemi, NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, a search of their apartment revealed 42 pieces of the drug-laced cupcakes.
