South Africans Demand Home Affairs Minister's Removal After Chidimma Adetshina Spotted in Cape Town

Public outcry has intensified in South Africa following reports that Chidimma Adetshina, a former Miss South Africa finalist embroiled in a citizenship controversy, was recently seen in Cape Town. 

In October 2024, the Department of Home Affairs announced plans to revoke Adetshina's identity and travel documents due to allegations of identity theft involving her mother.

 The sighting has led to calls for the dismissal of Home Affairs Minister Leon Schreiber, with critics questioning the effectiveness of the department's actions and expressing concerns over potential security lapses
