NIMC Increases Fees for NIN Data Modifications and Premium Services

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has implemented a price hike for various services related to the National Identification Number (NIN), citing inflation and the need to align with operational costs.

The revised fees now include a significant increase for correcting a date of birth, which now costs N28,574, a 75% rise from the previous fee of N16,340. Other data modifications, such as changes to names or addresses, are now priced at N2,000, up from N1,522 a 31% increase. 

The cost for re-issuance of the NIN slip has also gone up from N500 to N600.
