NIHOTOUR Urges Calm After Assault case 

The National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) has called for calm and professionalism following a physical altercation that occurred during a compliance exercise at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

The incident escalated when a hotel staff member reportedly confronted a law enforcement officer attached to the NIHOTOUR team, resulting in the officer's police uniform being torn off during the scuffle. 

Stripped down to his trousers and visibly provoked, the officer responded by slapping the staff member
