The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported a drop in Nigeria's headline inflation rate to 23.18% in February 2025, down from 24.48% in January 2025, reflecting a 1.30% decrease.
According to the NBS, the month-on-month inflation rate stood at 2.04%, indicating a slight increase in price levels compared to the previous month.
The food inflation rate for February 2025 was 23.51% year-on-year, highlighting the continued impact of food prices on overall inflation.
