NEWBORN BABY GIRL RESCUED AFTER BEING FOUND ABANDONED IN CARTON IN ABUJA

The FCT Police Command has rescued a newborn baby girl who was reportedly found abandoned inside a carton along a road in Galadima, Abuja. ????????????

According to the police, the discovery marks the third case of an abandoned baby found within the FCT in the past two weeks, raising fresh concerns over the safety and welfare of vulnerable children.

FCT Police spokesperson SP Joseph Adeh expressed concern over the disturbing trend and appealed to members of the public with any useful information to come forward and help authorities locate the baby’s family.

The baby has now been rescued, while efforts are expected to continue to determine how she came to be abandoned. ????????
