Mohbad's Widow Responds to Father-in-Law's Cheating Allegations

Wunmi Aloba, the widow of the late singer Mohbad, has addressed allegations made by her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, who claimed she was unfaithful to Mohbad during their marriage. 

In an interview on TVC on February 21, Wunmi recounted a previous appearance by her father-in-law, where he was questioned about his insistence on obtaining a DNA test for his grandchild.

 He implied that Mohbad had doubts about the paternity of their child, suggesting that Wunmi's infidelity was the cause.

Responding to these claims, Wunmi stated, "Legally, he doesn't have the right to ask for a DNA test, but since I have nothing to hide, his request is not the issue; it's the manner in which he is asking." She revealed that when the DNA matter first arose, she attempted to discuss it with him, but he shifted the conversation to unrelated topics. Wunmi expressed her surprise at his public statements, noting that he initially claimed the demand was driven by public opinion, before later stating that a friend of Mohbad's had suggested that they had only been intimate once, questioning the possibility of her pregnancy.

Wunmi found the entire situation shocking, especially considering that it was Joseph Aloba who had encouraged her and Mohbad to marry and start a family. She recalled how he had taken her to various prayer sessions and even provided her with substances to help her conceive
