Tragedy Strikes: Nigerian Immigration Officer Dies in Car Crash Four Days After Wedding

A Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) officer, Angbashimu Gideon Yusuf, has tragically lost his life in a fatal car accident just four days after his wedding.

Gideon and his wife, Jummai Blessing Sunday, tied the knot on March 8, 2025, in Lafia, Nasarawa State. However, the joyous occasion was short-lived as he was involved in a fatal auto crash on Wednesday, March 12.

Friends, family, and colleagues have taken to social media to express their grief over his sudden passing. One mourner, Blessing Ashe, wrote: "Very unfortunate, Rest in peace Uncle Gideon Yusuf.
