Lagos Resident Exposes Alleged Extortion by LASTMA Officers
A Lagos driver has taken to social media to expose what he described as corrupt practices by some officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
In a video that has since gone viral, the man accused the officers of demanding bribes and unlawfully impounding vehicles along a busy road in the state.
According to him, motorists are often threatened or harassed into parting with money under the guise of traffic violations.
