Former President Buhari Claims Significant Improvements in Nigeria's Security and Economy

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has asserted that Nigeria experienced notable improvements in both security and the economy during his eight-year administration. 

He made these remarks on February 5, 2025, while hosting members of the Katsina State Correspondents' Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists at his home in Daura, Katsina State.

Reflecting on his tenure, Buhari highlighted the numerous challenges he faced upon taking office in 2015, particularly those stemming from the previous People's Democratic Party (PDP)-led government.
