Defence Ministers and Military Chiefs Assess Security Situation in North-East

Defence Minister Alhaji Abubakar Badaru, Minister of State for Defence Dr. Bello Matawalle, and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, paid a working visit today to frontline troops stationed in Nigeria’s North-East.

Speaking at the Borno State Government House, Alhaji Badaru explained that the visit was aimed at reviewing the security situation on the ground and discussing strategic steps forward with the state’s leadership. 

He reassured residents of Borno that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains deeply committed to tackling security challenges, both within the state and across the country.
