The recall effort follows weeks of controversy surrounding Akpoti-Uduaghan’s recent allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. While her supporters argue that the recall is politically motivated, critics insist that their decision is based on her perceived failure to effectively represent their interests in the Senate.
