Governor Fubara and Family Vacate Rivers Government House Amid State of Emergency
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has moved out of the Government House in Port Harcourt along with his family and security details.
Reports indicate that the governor vacated the premises on the morning of Wednesday, March 19, following President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a State of Emergency in the state.
The move comes after the president announced the suspension of Governor Fubara, his deputy, and members of the state House of Assembly for six months due to the ongoing political crisis.
