Activist Deji Adeyanju Fires Back at Pastor Ibiyeomie 

Deji Adeyanju expressed strong disappointment in Pastor David Ibiyeomie following the pastor’s recent warning to Nigerians not to criticize him or his church, threatening to have detractors arrested.

Adeyanju wrote:

"I'm so disappointed in Papa David Ibiyeomie for warning and threatening Nigerians not to talk or criticize him or his church, or else he will lock them up. Who are you, sir, that people can’t talk about your church or criticize you? People criticized Jesus, and He did not lock them up. Yet here you are, boasting about using the police to detain people a pastor doing that! These pastors are acting like unbelievers and damaging the image of Christianity. They are the reason many people no longer attend church."
