Veteran Ugandan politician Moses Ali, aged 86, is once again seeking re-election, extending a political career that has spanned over five decades. 

A former Lieutenant General, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister, Ali has remained a prominent figure in Uganda’s political landscape since the 1970s.

Despite his long service, concerns have emerged over his health, with some observers speculating that he may be exhibiting symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. However, these concerns have not deterred the elderly legislator, who continues to ask voters for their support in the upcoming elections
