Zelensky Open to Resignation for Peace and NATO Membership

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his willingness to resign if it would lead to peace for Ukraine, suggesting he could exchange his position for NATO membership.

 During a press conference on February 23, he stated, “If [it guarantees] peace for Ukraine, if you really need me to resign, I am ready. I can exchange it for NATO.”

Zelensky's remarks come amid a heated exchange with former U.S. President Donald Trump, who had accused Ukraine of instigating the conflict.
