Wike Declares No Plans to Challenge Tinubu, Backs Fubara in 2027
Rivers State Governor Wike has stated clearly that he will not run for office again, emphasizing his loyalty to President Tinubu, whom he currently works with.
Speaking about the 2027 elections, Wike said, “Who else will win except him?” He also expressed strong support for his protégé, describing Fubara as “my boy, my son,” and made it clear he will not oppose him. Wike went on to say his real opponents are those who seek to claim power without earning it
