THAT’S JUST HOW I AM” ISN’T ALWAYS PERSONALITY — SOMETIMES, IT’S RESISTANCE TO GROWTH

“THAT’S JUST HOW I AM” ISN’T ALWAYS PERSONALITY — SOMETIMES, IT’S RESISTANCE TO GROWTH.

Psychologically, your identity isn’t completely fixed.

What we call our “personality” can include patterns of thinking, habits and behaviours shaped by our experiences, environment and repetition. And thanks to neuroplasticity, the brain remains capable of adapting and changing throughout adulthood.

That means you are not stuck.
You are not too late.
You are not permanently defined by who you used to be.

You can rewire.
You can relearn.
You can unlearn.
You can grow.

So stop defending your limitations as if they are the core of who you are.

Instead, start asking yourself:

“Who do I want to become?”

Your past can explain you, but it doesn’t have to permanently define you.

Think of your personality like software — some parts may need updating, some habits may need uninstalling, and some new ones may need to be developed
