Texas Hunter Killed by Charging Cape Buffalo in South Africa
An American trophy hunter, 52 year old Asher Watkins from Texas, was fatally gored during a hunting trip at the Bambisana concession in Limpopo on Sunday.
According to Coenraad Vermaak Safaris, the tour operator, Watkins was pursuing a massive 1.3 ton Cape buffalo alongside a professional hunter when the animal suddenly charged at a speed of about 56 km/h
