Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have admitted to violations committed by their troops in Al Fasher, North Darfur.
In a statement released earlier today, the RSF confirmed that investigation committees have been established and dispatched to the affected areas to address the incidents and ensure accountability.
The group said it remains committed to “upholding discipline and protecting civilians,” though observers remain skeptical given the widespread reports of atrocities during the ongoing conflict between the RSF and Sudan’s Armed Forces (SAF).
