Sim Fubara Urges Supporters to Embrace Peace with Wike: "No One Can Erase His Contributions"

Suspended Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has called on his supporters to embrace the peace accord reached with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, despite their past political conflicts.

Speaking directly to his followers, Fubara emphasized that his decision to pursue peace is in the best interest of the state and its people, not personal gain.

"I addressed you on May 29, 2025, and I told you then that we were in a peace process. That process is still ongoing," Fubara said. "I called this meeting so you can hear directly from me, not through newspapers or social media."
