Governor Adeleke Calls for Peaceful Local Elections, Reaffirms Osun’s Commitment to Rule of Law

In a state broadcast ahead of the upcoming local government elections, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has urged politicians to uphold the rule of law and ensure a peaceful electoral process.

 He emphasized the importance of democratic values and called on all stakeholders to conduct themselves responsibly during Saturday’s polls.

Governor Adeleke reassured residents that Osun remains a peaceful state and that his administration is committed to maintaining law and order. 

He encouraged citizens to exercise their right to vote without fear, stressing that security agencies have been mobilized to ensure a smooth and violence-free election.

"As leaders and citizens, we must prioritize peace and respect for the law. Elections should not be a battleground but a reflection of the people’s will," he stated.
