Senator Kawu Sumaila Defects from NNPP to APC in Senate Plenary
Senator Kawu Sumaila, representing Kano South, has officially defected from the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defection was formally announced during today’s Senate plenary, with the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, reading out Sumaila's defection letter to the chamber.
