South Africa’s Defence Minister Becomes Acting President
South Africa’s Minister of Defence, Angie Motshekga, has assumed the role of Acting President in the absence of both President Cyril Ramaphosa and his deputy.
Ramaphosa appointed Motshekga to lead temporarily as he embarks on official trips to Ireland and Belgium, where he is scheduled to engage in high level diplomatic meetings.
