Royal Family Attends Christmas Day Service at Sandringham

The Royal Family gathered for their traditional Christmas Day church service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, attracting excited crowds who had been waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of the monarch and his family. 

This year's attendance was notably marked by the announcement that the Duke of York would not participate in the annual gathering. His absence follows revelations about an alleged Chinese spy, linked to him through a High Court judgment.

The service took place just hours before King Charles III's Christmas message, which is set to be delivered from a former hospital chapel.
