NLC Issues 7 Day Deadline to FG Over Alleged Diversion of Workers Funds

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the Federal Government a seven day ultimatum to refund workers funds allegedly diverted from the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and to immediately inaugurate the Governing Board of the National Pension Commission.

The union warned that failure to meet these demands would trigger a nationwide industrial action, signaling a potential escalation in labor unrest if the issues remain unresolved.
