Nigerian Army Accused of Disarming Citizens Before Terrorist Attacks – Dele Farotimi Alleges

In a startling claim, lawyer and activist Dele Farotimi has accused the Nigerian government of indirectly enabling violence against its own people.

 According to him, before terror groups strike, security forces particularly the Nigerian army allegedly conduct operations that leave local communities defenceless.

Farotimi alleged that soldiers go from house to house, confiscating weapons, including locally made Dane guns used by residents for protection. He suggested this pattern leaves citizens vulnerable and raises serious questions about the government’s priorities.
