Nigeria to Deploy Locally-Made Unmanned Drones to Boost Agriculture in Conflict Areas

The Nigerian government has announced plans to deploy domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to enhance agricultural activities in regions affected by conflict and insecurity. 

According to officials, the drones will be used for surveillance and monitoring of farmlands, providing vital information on crop health, irrigation needs, and potential threats such as pests or environmental hazards.
