Nigeria retained decision making control over US strikes in Sokoto — Tinubu’s aide
Ademola Oshodi, senior special assistant to Bola Tinubu on foreign affairs and protocol, has said Nigeria maintained full decision making control over the recent United States air strikes targeting ISIS terrorists in Sokoto State.
Oshodi explained that the operation reflects improved cooperation between Nigeria and the United States government, stressing that the strikes were carried out at Nigeria’s request and under Nigerian authority, rather than as a unilateral action by Washington
