NDLEA Proposes Mandatory Drug Tests for Driver’s Licence Applicants
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has proposed the introduction of mandatory drug testing for individuals applying for driver’s licences in Nigeria.
According to the agency, the measure aims to curb road accidents, enhance safety, and discourage drug abuse among motorists.
If implemented, prospective drivers will be required to undergo and pass drug screening before being cleared to receive or renew their licences
