NAFDAC Temporarily Lifts Sachet Alcohol Ban
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has announced a temporary lifting of the sachet alcohol ban, clarifying that this is not a permanent reversal.
Kenneth Azikiwe, Director of the FCT Directorate, stated in Abuja that the suspension will last only until December 31, 2025, after which full enforcement of the ban will resume.
Azikiwe urged the public to ignore any false claims that the ban has been permanently removed.
