N138 Million Fraud: I Used My Own Money to Fund Projects – Ex-Minister Uju Ohanenye Tells EFCC

Former Minister Uju Ohanenye has defended herself against allegations of N138 million fraud, insisting that she even used her personal funds to supplement government projects.

Speaking to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ohanenye denied any wrongdoing, claiming that instead of misappropriating funds, she personally contributed to ensuring the completion of certain projects.

The case has sparked controversy, with the EFCC continuing its investigation into the alleged financial misconduct. Ohanenye, however, remains adamant that her actions were in the best interest of the public.
