Mexico Sues Google 

Mexico has filed a lawsuit against Google after the tech giant labeled the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America" for U.S.-based users on its Maps platform.

 President Claudia Sheinbaum expressed frustration, revealing that her private requests to restore the original name were ignored by the company.

The dispute escalated when the Mexican government introduced the Gulf of America Act in response, while the White House applied pressure on media outlets, even restricting Associated Press reporters who continued to use the traditional name "Gulf of Mexico."
