Barcelona winger Raphinha has expressed heartfelt appreciation for incoming Barça manager Hansi Flick, revealing that the German coach played a pivotal role in shaping his career.

“I’ll always be grateful to Hansi Flick,” Raphinha said. “He transformed my entire journey as a footballer.”

 According to the Brazilian star, Flick took a personal interest in evaluating him during training sessions before making any decision about his future.

“He wanted to watch me train first the saw me fitting into his plans,” Raphinha added. “Without Flick’s belief, I might be at a different club right now and not living my dream at Barcelona.”
